How to Report Phone, Text and Email Scams in Your Country

We’ve listed some entities where you can report unsolicited email, text and phone scams on a country per country basis. If such a scam claims to represent a specific organisation, you may also be able to report it to that organisation as well (just use the search bar on our homepage.)

Unfortunately reporting a scam using any of the information below doesn’t mean you will no longer receive scam calls, texts or emails. Scammers swap email addresses and phone numbers (which are usually spoofed) on a daily basis, meaning it’s an endless game of whack-a-mole.

However reporting a scam allows the relevant authorities and entities to keep on top of trending scams and new tricks that crooks use. This allows for a more proactive approach at warning potential victims before they get scammed. And in some cases reporting scams can help law enforcement investigate these scams and stop the crooks in their tracks.

We will add more countries to this page in due course.

If you believe you have been the victim of fraud, always contact the police in your country.
If you believe your financial details have been compromised by a scam, always contact your financial institution (bank) immediately.
