NationalReport.net is FAKE NEWS
This website publishes primarily fake news articles, meaning that the articles published on the site are most likely going to be false. FAKE NEWS websites may deliberately publish fake news with the intention of tricking their readers, or may aggregate articles from other fake news sources and publish them without checking their legitimacy. As such, the site cannot be trusted to present accurate information.
Referring to itself as “America’s #1 Independent News Source”, NationalReport.net is one of the longest running fake news websites, with the height of its success between 2013 and 2015 during which it was perhaps the most visited fake news website on the Internet.
Viral stories publishes on NationalReport.net include the claim that Obama announced a third term as president, the claim that EMI were actively suing Kim Davis (the country clerk who was imprisoned for refusing to wed gay couples) over the use of their song “Eye of the Tiger” as well as the claim that Obama was banning the word Christmas from all “federal property”.
